Recent official rulings
After bringing back DeForest Buckner, will the 49ers make more trades?
The 49ers addressed their defensive line by adding Buckner, but will they make more big moves to help the WR room before the Nov. 10 deadline?
Demarcus Robinson — Injured Reserve
Shanahan said the same thing 11 days ago, so the timeline appears to remain in place for Robinson, who suffered a high-ankle sprain way back in Week 2 against Miami. The Niners are expected to get plenty of reinforcements following their open date, and all three of Mike Evans (Achilles), Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Robinson could be among those returning for Week 9 against Las Vegas.
De'Zhaun Stribling — Injured Reserve
Stribling was injured in the 49ers' Week 1 win over the Rams in Australia and remains on injured reserve. He missed a big opportunity for snaps and targets with the team dealing with so many injuries at the wide receiver position, but all indications are Stribling will be back for the stretch run and a possible trip to the playoffs.

Garret Wallow — Out
Both Wallow and Luke Gifford (groin) are unavailable for Sunday's contest, leaving Tatum Bethune as the primary depth option at linebacker behind Jaden Dugger, Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw. Wallow will have extra rest courtesy of the Week 8 bye, so he could be back for Week 9 against the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Luke Gifford — Out
Gifford didn't practice during Week 7 prep due to a groin injury he picked up against the Commanders in Week 6. The 49ers have a bye for Week 8, so his next chance to play is Week 9 against the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 8. Garret Wallow (hamstring) is also out, so Tatum Bethune is currently the lone depth option at linebacker ahead of Sunday's contest.
Marques Sigle — Out
Sigle managed to upgrade to a limited participant in Friday's practice after missing consecutive sessions to start Week 7 prep. The strong safety's last-minute upgrade in participation level was not enough to enable him to suit up for Sunday's game, leaving Malik Mustapha as a starter in the 49ers' secondary for a third consecutive week.
Nick Bosa — Out
Coach Kyle Shanahan stated that Bosa was "a little too optimistic" with his statement that he would be back before the bye, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reported Friday. The defensive end's chances to play were also diminished because Sunday's game in Atlanta is played on artificial turf. Bosa will continue to recover in anticipation of the 49ers' Week 9 matchup with the Raiders.
