Alex Singleton — Active
Singleton continued to rack up a vast number of stops -- it was the fifth time this season he's recorded double-digit tackles. The star linebacker also registered a sack for the second straight week, coming up huge when he brought down Patrick Mahomes for a six-yard loss late in the fourth quarter on third down. The next play was a missed Harrison Butker 54-yard field-goal try, which led to Denver pulling off the comeback with a touchdown less than a minute later. Singleton has been an elite IDP asset in fantasy this season, as he leads the NFL by a wide margin with 101 tackles through eight weeks.
Ernest Jones IV — Active
Jones not only led Seattle in stops in the loss, he also tied the season-high mark he first established in Week 1 versus New England. The veteran linebacker continues to be an impactful IDP asset in his sixth NFL campaign, as he ranks third in the NFL with 81 tackles through eight weeks. Jones has recorded at least eight stops in every one of his appearances this season.
Isaiah McDuffie — Active
McDuffie tied with Evan Williams for the team lead in tackles. He played every one of the Packers' defensive snaps for the second straight game in the absence of Zaire Franklin (shin). McDuffie has tallied 21 tackles in the pair of contests, so he's looking like a strong IDP option, at least for as long as Franklin remains sidelined.
Ty'Ron Hopper — Active
Hopper finished third on Green Bay with his eight stops, but that was only one part of his impactful performance. The third-year linebacker picked off Bryce Young in the backfield in the second quarter to give the Packers the ball in Carolina territory, and he sacked Young early in the third period on a drive that ended in a Panthers punt. Hopper has started and logged over a 90 percent defensive snap share each of the past two weeks, and given his performance against Carolina, he doesn't figure to give up that role soon.
Evan Williams — Active
Williams finished tied for the team lead in takedowns with linebacker Isaiah McDuffie, notching double-digit stops for the fourth time this season. The safety has now compiled 71 total tackles (44 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding six passes defensed, two of which are interceptions, and a fumble recovery over the first eight games of the 2026 campaign.
Malaki Starks — Active
Starks was quite active as a tackler, finishing second on the Ravens in stops behind Roquan Smith (11). It was the second time Starks has notched double-digit tackles in a game this season, though he's averaged a more modest 5.2 stops in his other six games. With 51 total tackles through eight contests, he's on pace to exceed the 84 stops he recorded across 17 regular-season games as a rookie last year.
Zakee Wheatley — Active
Wheatley was able to secure a career-high seven stops while his biggest play of the game came in the fourth quarter when he picked off a deep pass from Packers quarterback Jordan Love. The interception was the first of the Wheatley's career, and the rookie has now compiled 26 total tackles (19 solo), four passes defensed and a forced fumble over six contests during the 2026 campaign.
Josh Cameron — Active
Jacksonville didn't need to go to its air game much given the easy win, and QB Trevor Lawrence threw just 14 passes. None of those went to Cameron -- his only target (which he didn't catch) came from backup signal-caller Quinn Ewers in garbage time. Cameron did log a season-high 52 percent offensive snap share, but game script didn't do him any favors in terms of production. With no catches in three of his seven games this season, Cameron doesn't make for an appealing fantasy asset.
Foyesade Oluokun — Active
Oluokun led the team in takedowns, notching at least eight tackles for the third straight game. The linebacker was also able to get to quarterback Daniel Jones for his first sack of the year in the second quarter, matching his season total from both the 2024 and 2025 campaigns. Oluokun is as steady as it gets from a fantasy perspective, and he has now registered 51 total tackles (31 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding two interceptions and a forced fumble over seven contests to open the regular season.
Rayuan Lane III — Active
Lane played every one of the team's defensive snaps in Week 8, stepping into a starting role in the secondary with Antonio Johnson (ankle) unavailable. The 23-year-old's biggest moment of the game came in the second quarter when he jumped in front of a pass from Colts quarterback Daniel Jones for an interception, returning it 92 yards for his first career defensive touchdown. Lane has now compiled 20 total tackles (10 solo) and four passes defensed, including Sunday's pick-six, over seven contests during the 2026 campaign.
Jack Bech — Active
Bech returned from a four-game absence due to a forearm injury and logged a 40 percent offensive snap share, but he didn't get any looks from QB Kirk Cousins. In fact, Cousins didn't go to his wideout corps as a whole very often -- 16 of his 26 targets went to tight ends, and another four went to running back Ashton Jeanty. Bech will look to get back into the box score Sunday in a Week 9 matchup in San Francisco.
KeAndre Lambert-Smith — Active
Lambert-Smith was expected to revert back to a minimal role on offense in Week 8 due to both Ladd McConkey and Tre' Harris returning to action, and that is exactly what happened. Lambert-Smith played just two offensive snaps in the contest, and he will continue to have little to no fantasy value as long as the rest of the Chargers' primary pass catchers are healthy.
Tez Johnson — Active
Johnson and the rest of the Buccaneers' pass catchers went without receptions in Week 8 as quarterback Baker Mayfield failed to complete a pass on three attempts in the team's rain-soaked victory. The wide receiver may have another chance to operate in a prominent role on offense if fellow wideout Emeka Egbuka (foot) remains unavailable Sunday versus the Bears.
Tyler Higbee — Active
Higbee logged a hearty 83 percent offensive snap share, most among Rams tight ends. However, he got little attention from quarterback Matthew Stafford, recording just two targets. Higbee had a nice run in Weeks 3-5, when he logged 18 catches for 212 yards across the three-game span. However, since then he's posted just seven receptions for 50 yards across his subsequent three contests. As such, it's hard to trust Higbee on a week-to-week basis right now even with the Rams down multiple pass catchers in Davante Adams (hamstring - IR), Terrance Ferguson (ankle - IR) and Colby Parkinson (ribs).
Laquon Treadwell — Active
Treadwell failed to record multiple receptions in a game for the first time since Week 3 against Houston. The wide receiver could be set to operate in a more prominent role if the team decides to deal fellow wideout Josh Downs prior to the trade deadline Nov. 10. For the time being, Treadwell doesn't figure to have much fantasy appeal Sunday against the Cowboys.
Elijah Higgins — Active
Wideout Michael Wilson missed a portion of the contest due to an injury to his ribs, and Kendrick Bourne (lower leg) exited for good late in the first half. That resulted in a need for other Cardinals pass catchers to step up, and Higgins ended up getting targeted a season-high four times. However, he didn't do much with the opportunity, finishing with his lowest yardage total since he was shut out in Week 2. Meanwhile, No. 1 tight end Trey McBride had another big game with seven catches for 72 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. McBride's elite status will likely continue to make Higgins an afterthought most weeks.
Josh Cuevas — Active
Cuevas played 13 offensive snaps in Week 8, again trailing behind veteran Mark Andrews (29) and rookie fourth-rounder Matthew Hibner (21). With that said, Cuevas ran routes on most of those snaps, and he drew multiple targets for the fourth straight game Sunday. He still won't be a viable fantasy option in most formats as long as Andrews and Hibner remain healthy.
Elijah Moore — Active
Moore was held without a catch for the first time since Week 5, failing to take advantage of DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) being unavailable. Moore figures to remain an afterthought on offense in Week 9 against the Giants.
Ty Johnson — Active
In a game that Buffalo ran away with in the second half, Johnson's four carries were a season high, but he couldn't produce much on those rush attempts. Ray Davis actually saw more carries (six) in Week 8 and was more effective as a rusher (30 yards). As long as lead back James Cook is available, Johnson won't have much utility in most fantasy formats.
Hollywood Brown — Active
With both DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) missing the contest, Brown ranked third among Eagles wideouts with 32 offensive snaps. He didn't do much with the opportunity, as the veteran wideout notched just two receptions for the second straight week. If Smith and/or Wicks return in Week 9 against the Giants, Brown may see his role diminish.
Reggie Virgil — Active
Virgil played a season-high 38 offensive snaps, but he went without a reception for the third straight week. The Cardinals placed Kendrick Bourne (lower leg) on injured reserve Tuesday after the wide receiver fractured his right tibia in Week 8, so more opportunities could come Virgil's way moving forward. Regardless of an increase in workload, the team's Week 9 matchup versus Seattle will be a challenging one for the 22-year-old.
Devin Duvernay — Active
Duvernay reeled in his first two passes of the year while playing 34 offensive snaps in the victory. Fellow wideout Kendrick Bourne (lower leg) fractured his right tibia during the contest, and he is likely set to miss the rest of the 2026 campaign. Duvernay will likely see an increased role on offense in Bourne's absence, but he will remain an unappealing fantasy option ahead of the team's Week 9 matchup against Seattle.
Darius Cooper — Active
Both of Cooper's catches came in the first half -- he didn't haul in any of his three targets in the second half. The second-year wideout led Eagles wideouts with 66 offensive snaps and finished second with the six targets, but it didn't amount to much production, as he couldn't form much of a connection with QB Tanner McKee. Despite an elevated role due to injuries to DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) the past two weeks, Cooper has just three catches for 36 yards in that span, making him an unappealing fantasy option.
Tyler Goodson — Active
Dallas wasn't really able to get anything going on the ground in Week 8, totaling just 93 rushing yards on 39 carries. Just like the offense as a whole, Goodson found a bit more success in the passing game, and he posted his best receiving total since back in 2024. As long as starter Javonte Williams remains available, though, Goodson should stay in a change-of-pace role.
Efton Chism III — Active
Chism led the team in targets and receptions, with A.J. Brown (ankle/knee) unavailable. The wide receiver played a season-high 88 percent of the team's offensive snaps, and he has now reeled in 15 of 20 targets for 151 yards and a touchdown over seven regular-season contests with New England so far this year.
Corey Kiner — Active
Kiner operated as the top reserve option behind starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 8, with TreVeyon Henderson (illness) sidelined. Kiner has compiled 160 rushing yards on 28 carries while reeling in his only target for seven yards over the team's last four contests, and he could earn more opportunities moving forward.
Brevyn Spann-Ford — Active
Starting tight end Jake Ferguson logged only four offensive snaps before leaving Sunday's contest with an ankle injury, and Spann-Ford ended up playing a career-high 65 offensive snaps as a result. He ended up second on the team in targets behind CeeDee Lamb (11), and he could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper formats if Ferguson is unable to suit up in Week 9 at Indianapolis.
Jimmy Rolder — Injured Reserve
This move was anticipated, as Rolder suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in the Lions' win over Minnesota on Sunday. The rookie linebacker logged a career-high 17 defensive snaps and notched his first NFL sack in that contest, so his injury comes at an unfortunate time. Rolder will now turn his focus toward rehabbing the injury in order to be ready for offseason activities in 2027.
Olaivavega Ioane — Active
Ioane is set to return to action Thursday night against the Jaguars after missing Week 8 with a sprained MCL in his right knee that he suffered in Week 7 against the Bengals. The 22-year-old will likely be back in his starting role at right guard versus Jacksonville.
Max Mitchell — Injured Reserve
In a corresponding transaction, the Jets signed tackle Blake Freeland to their active roster. Mitchell, who has not made a start on the offensive line yet this season, will now have to miss at least the next four games.

Yasir Abdullah — Injured Reserve
Abdullah went to Atlanta's injured reserve list after hurting his hamstring back in Week 4 at New Orleans, but it now looks like he may be close to returning to game action. The transaction opens a 21-day window during which the Falcons can officially activate Abdullah from IR before they'd have to put him back on the shelf for the rest of the campaign.

Brady Christensen — Injured Reserve
Christensen has been rehabbing from a hamstring injury all season and has yet to play in a game. The Panthers will now have 21 days to activate him from IR, otherwise he won't be eligible to suit up this season. If Christensen does indeed return, he could be moved into a starting role.
Marcus Bryant — Active
Bryant will return to action in Week 9 after spending the entirety of the regular season to this point on IR after suffering an ankle injury during the preseason. The 24-year-old will operate as a top reserve option behind Will Campbell and Morgan Moses at offensive tackle moving forward.
Christian Darrisaw — Questionable
Darrisaw played all 52 of the Vikings' offensive snaps during Sunday's game at Detroit, but he hurt his shoulder somewhere along the way, and now his status for Week 9 is in doubt. His activity at practice will be worth monitoring when Minnesota releases its first official injury report of the week Thursday.
Cashius Howell — Injured Reserve
Howell suffered a right wrist injury during Sunday's overtime win against the Titans, and he will now be forced to miss at least four contests as a result. The defensive lineman has already undergone surgery, per Mike Petraglia of CLNSCincy.com, and in Howell's absence, Shemar Stewart will stand to see an increase in workload at defensive end.
Travon Walker — Questionable
Walker suffered a rib injury during the third quarter of Sunday's game versus the Colts, and now his status for Thursday's game at Baltimore is uncertain. He'll probably need to upgrade to full participation at practice Wednesday to avoid carrying an injury designation into gameday.
Roquan Smith — Active
Smith popped up on Baltimore's injury report Monday with a foot issue, but it doesn't look like it was anything too serious, and he's on track to play in Week 9. He's easily on pace for his fourth consecutive 100-plus tackle season and is a solid IDP consideration in most formats going into Thursday's game versus the Jaguars.
Dean Connors — Injured Reserve
Connors broke his hand in Sunday's win over the Chargers and is slated for surgery. He's worked as a core special-teamer this season but hasn't logged a snap on offense. As such, Connors' IR stint -- which will last at least four games -- isn't likely to cause any waves in fantasy.
Eric Murray — Injured Reserve
It was already known Murray suffered a season-ending elbow injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game versus the Colts, so the move comes as no big surprise. In his absence, 2025 sixth-rounder Rayuan Lane could step into a starting role at safety for the rest of the year.
Myron Gardner — Day-To-Day
Gardner is in danger of missing his fourth contest of the 2026-27 campaign. However, he has logged three minutes or less in his four regular-season games, so his absence wouldn't have much of an effect on the rotation.

Giannis Antetokounmpo — Day-To-Day
Antetokounmpo is dealing with a sprained wrist on his shooting hand, but it doesn't appear he has any intention of sitting out Wednesday's game. Check back closer to Wednesday's tipoff for official confirmation on his status.
DaVon Hamilton — Injured Reserve
Hamilton suffered a ruptured quad during Sunday's game versus the Colts, and now he'll spend the rest of the season on IR. His departure from Jacksonville's defensive line figures to open up more opportunities for 2024 second-rounder Ruke Orhorhoro as the campaign continues.
Samson Ebukam — Injured Reserve
Ebukam suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9 versus the Buccaneers, and he will now be forced to miss at least four contests as a result of the injury. In his absence, Za'Darius Smith is a top candidate to operate in a more prominent role at outside linebacker.
Precious Achiuwa — Day-To-Day
Achiuwa is currently bothered by left ankle soreness, though it doesn't appear as if it will be enough to keep him off the floor against Los Angeles. The 27-year-old has played well in his seven regular-season appearances in 2026-27, averaging 11.6 points and 1.9 steals, both career highs, along with 6.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks over 28.6 minutes per contest.
Simi Fehoko — Active
Buried on the depth chart at receiver to begin the season, Fehoko mostly served as a special-teams contributor through the Cardinals' first seven games. However, with the Cardinals trading away Marvin Harrison before losing Jalen Brooks (wrist) and Kendrick Bourne (tibia) to season-ending injuries within the past two weeks, Fehoko suddenly finds himself in a position to contribute. After Bourne made an early exit in this past Sunday's 33-30 overtime victory over the Cowboys, Fehoko played double-digit snaps for the first time in 2026. He wasn't much of a factor in the Cardinals' comeback win, however, earning just one target (for a 17-yard reception) while taking the field for 40 of the team's 81 offensive play. While Fehoko could see his playing time climb even higher in Week 9, tight ends Trey McBride and Elijah Higgins, wideouts Michael Wilson (ribs) and Reggie Virgil and running back Tyler Allgeier may be better bets to command targets from quarterback Gardner Minshew.

James Conner — Injured Reserve
Though LaFleur said last week that Conner could "potentially" play this season, that won't happen in Week 9. The veteran running back continues to work his way back from a right foot injury and has not yet been cleared to practice. Arizona is dealing with multiple injuries in its backfield, including to Jeremiyah Love (ankle - IR) and Bam Knight (concussion), so Conner could have provided a big boost if he'd been able to work his way back this week. Instead, the team will turn to Tyler Allgeier to lead its backfield, with Evan Hull serving as his primary backup if Knight is unable to suit up Sunday against Seattle.
Jordan Goodwin — Day-To-Day
Goodwin sustained a left calf injury in Monday's 116-113 loss to Golden State, ending his night after just 10 minutes. If Goodwin is sidelined Wednesday, Luke Kennard should see more action.
Rasheer Fleming — Day-To-Day
Fleming must have tweaked his ankle at practice because he's been out of the rotation the past two games. The Suns will update his status closer to Wednesday's tip.

Fleming is likely to have to navigate through a crowded Suns frontcourt for an Opening Night role. Jordan Goodwin, Haywood Highsmith and Ryan Dunn are also looking to be part of the club's rotation, so Fleming has plenty of hurdles to climb in order to muster fantasy relevance to begin 2026-27.
Daron Payne — Injured Reserve
Payne suffered a season-ending Jones fracture in his left foot during practice last week. His transition to injured reserve comes as no surprise, and in Payne's absence, Tim Settle will operate as the team's primary nose tackle moving forward.
Tyler Allgeier — Active
Allgeier previously led the Cardinals' backfield when Love was sidelined due to a different ankle injury Weeks 6 and 7, but Allgeier is now slated for a longer period in that role. Love was hurt late in the first quarter in his return to action Sunday against Dallas, and Allgeier ran wild after his departure, finishing with a career-high 147 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries along with 44 yards and another score on five receptions. In addition to Love getting hurt, Bam Knight suffered a concussion and is iffy to be able to suit up this Sunday against Seattle, so the backfield could belong to Allgeier, Evan Hull and a practice-squad signee (likely Jerome Ford). Though Allgeier found substantial success in Week 8, he came into the contest averaging just 2.9 yards per carry on 61 totes. He'll also be facing a Seattle defense in Week 9 that is tied for the second-fewest yards per carry (3.8) allowed to running backs this season, so a repeat performance by Allgeier would be surprising.
Kawhi Leonard — Out
Leonard will now begin the next phase of his rehab, and while he'll be re-evaluated by Nov. 10, it's still unlikely we'll see him back on the floor until the end of November. Ja'Kobe Walter should continue to start while Leonard is sidelined, and it'll be Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett running the show on offense.
Javon Kinlaw — Injured Reserve
Kinlaw suffered a knee injury in Week 6 versus San Francisco, and he was ultimately forced to miss the team's Week 8 win over the Eagles. The defensive lineman will now be sidelined for at least four more contests before he'd be eligible to return to action Dec. 6 versus the Titans.
Robert Henry Jr. — Active
After being cut by Seattle on Monday, Henry quickly caught on with the Commanders. The 2026 undrafted free agent out of UTSA had previously joined the Commanders for training camp and the preseason, only to be waived prior to Week 1. With Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) on injured reserve for at least two more games and Jeremy McNichols (foot) likely to miss the remainder of the season, Henry will provide the Commanders with another option in the backfield behind Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler. Henry didn't end up making his NFL debut during his time on the Seahawks roster.
Justice Hill — Active
After the Ravens estimated him as a limited practice participant Monday on their initial Week 9 injury report, Hill took every rep Tuesday to clear up any concern about his availability heading into Thursday's game against the Jaguars. Hill should serve in his familiar role as the Ravens' top passing-down back in Week 9, with Derrick Henry continuing to lead the way on the ground.
Charlie Smyth — Active
Daniel Carlson handled kicking duties for the Saints through their first seven games, but after he misfired on four field-goal tries and two extra-point attempts, he was released Monday. The Saints will now give Smyth another look, after he had served as their kicker in the final six games of last season before being cut loose following the preseason. Smyth fared well in his first taste of NFL action in 2025, going 12-for-16 on field goals and 13-for-13 on extra points, with two of his misses coming from beyond 50 yards.
