Murray is celebrating the birth of his son Thursday, making him a late scratch for Thursday's action. Herbert Jones will start in Murray's stead, per Eichenhofer, and Saddiq Bey could see an uptick in playing time as well.

Through four appearances, Murray has averaged 17.8 points, 6.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 32.3 minutes per game.

He'll have another four days to rest up before the Pelicans' regular-season opener against the Pacers on Oct. 21, and for now, he can be considered questionable for that one. If he's not ready by Opening Night, Jeremiah Fears and Jordan Poole would get a bump in value.
