George Kittle — Active
Kittle led the 49ers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets on an afternoon in which the team was down Mike Evans (Achilles) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring), and in which Christian McCaffrey missed the entire second quarter due to a quadriceps injury. All three components of the veteran tight end's receiving line were also season-best figures, but Kittle's lost fumble at the Falcons' 19-yard line with 57 seconds remaining following a 22-yard catch snuffed out any hope of a comeback for the Niners. Despite the unsavory conclusion to Sunday's game, Kittle will remain a key target for Brock Purdy in a Week 9 home matchup against the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 8, following a Week 8 bye.
George Kittle — Active
Kittle was one of Brock Purdy's most effective targets on the night, finishing with the 49ers' second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals. The athletic tight end also was on the other end of Brock Purdy's one touchdown pass, recording an 11-yard scoring grab to cap off the opening possession of the night. Kittle has at least four receptions in five consecutive games and Monday night's receiving yardage total or higher in four of his first six contests of the season, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday.
George Kittle — Active
Kittle had an uncharacteristic third-down drop on San Francisco's opening drive but caught his other five targets to finish second on the 49ers in receiving yards despite playing through an illness. Mike Evans easily led the team with seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Sunday's win. Kittle will have an extra day to recover before the Commanders come to town for Monday Night Football in Week 6.
George Kittle — Active
Kittle remains without an official designation for Sunday's contest, so despite being under the weather, the expectation is that he'll play without any limitations. After tearing his Achilles in a Jan. 11 wild-card round win over the Eagles, the seven-time Pro Bowler has staged a successful comeback so far during the 2026 campaign. Through four games, Kittle has produced a 16-244-4 receiving line on 22 targets.
George Kittle — Active
Kittle was having an unremarkable day until just before the two-minute warning, when he brought in a tight-end screen from Brock Purdy, turned upfield and raced 56 yards to the end zone to extend what had been a thin 17-14 lead for the 49ers. Kittle finished second in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon for San Francisco, while also tying for runner-up status in targets. Kittle now has at least 70 receiving yards in three straight games, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 5 road matchup against the Seahawks next Sunday.
George Kittle — Active
Kittle led the 49ers in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, marking what may have been his return to both full health and a full workload following last January's Achilles tear. The veteran tight end struck from 10 and 20 yards out for his pair of fourth-quarter scoring grabs, his first multi-TD tally since Week 11 of last season. Kittle now has hit or exceeded the 80-yard mark in consecutive games, and he should remain heavily involved in a Week 4 home matchup against a Broncos defense that tends to funnel passing toward the middle of the field due to its outstanding cornerback play.
