Jaylin Noel — Injured Reserve
Noel was forced out of this past Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Giants after going down with the toe injury with just under nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The loss of Noel is a major blow to the Texans, as he had been serving as the team's top return man in addition to emerging as a big-play threat on offense. Through Houston's first seven games, Noel had recorded 19 receptions for a team-leading 331 yards and two touchdowns and added 26 yards on four carries.
Jaylin Noel — Injured Reserve
Noel is dealing with a case of turf toe following this past Sunday's overtime loss to the Giants and will now be sidelined for at least the next four games after landing on IR. The second-year player had been one of the Texans' more productive wideouts on a per-play basis this season, notching 19 receptions for 331 yards and two touchdowns on 23 targets over just 200 total snaps. With Noel out through Week 12, more opportunities in the passing game could open up for Marvin Harrison, Xavier Hutchinson, Tank Dell and Kayshon Boutte.

Fisher was held out of practice all week due to a thumb injury, leaving the Texans with one less offensive tackle for Sunday's contest. Houston is on a bye for Week 8, so Fisher's next chance to suit up is Week 9 against the Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Jalen Pitre — Out
Pitre will miss consecutive games due to an AC Joint injury. The starting slot cornerback will likely be replaced by Tremon Smith once again as he continues to recover from his injury.
Reed Blankenship — Out
Blankenship has been unable to progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and will be sidelined for the Texans' Week 7 contest. M.J. Stewart will likely be called upon to start at strong safety in the former Eagle's absence.
David Montgomery — Out
Montgomery still hasn't returned to practice and will miss a second straight game, leaving Woody Marks to handle a large workload against the Giants. Jawhar Jordan (quad) was effective off the bench last week, but he's now on the practice-squad injured list, which leaves Dare Ogunbowale as the No. 2 RB. Ogunbowale's history as a special teamer and passing-down specialist suggest Marks should dominate carries.
