Tyrell Shavers — Out
Shavers has progressed enough in his recovery from a torn ACL to return to practice, and he was a limited participant in Wednesday's session. Shavers saw his role in the Bills' offense steadily increase over the course of the 2025 season before suffering his injury in the wild-card round against the Jaguars in January. His next opportunity to play is Week 9 against the Vikings on Monday, Nov. 9.

Ed Oliver — Out
Oliver will miss a second consecutive game due to the knee injury he sustained during the Bills' Week 4 loss to the Patriots. The defensive tackle will once again be replaced by a mixture of Greg Gaines, DeWayne Carter and T.J. Sanders.

DJ Moore — Out
After sitting out a Week 5 overtime win at the Rams, Moore managed just one limited practice (Friday) this week, and he donned a red non-contact jersey while doing so. Per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Moore again didn't log much activity during pregame warmups for a second straight week, forecasting another absence was likely. With Moore's status now clarified, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer (shoulder) should earn most of the WR reps in the Bills offense in Week 6.
Landon Jackson — Out
Jackson was initially listed as questionable due to a knee injury, which is severe enough for the second-year pro to miss his first game of the regular season. Greg Gaines and DeWayne Carter are in line for more rotational reps on the Bills' defensive line due to Jackson's absence.
Dee Alford — Out
Alford drew the questionable tag for Monday night's game after logging a limited practice Saturday, but he'll end up missing his first game of the season due to an ankle injury that he sustained against the Patriots in Week 4. Damar Hamlin should see some more defensive snaps at the slot corner position in Alford's absence.

DJ Moore — Out
After suffering a shoulder injury in Week 4, Moore wasn't expected to be tending to a long-term issue, and head coach Joe Brady told Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News on Thursday that the wide receiver was "going to be able to do everything he can to be able to rock this week." Moore then managed just one limited session (Saturday) during Week 5 prep, which wasn't enough for him to gain clearance to play Monday. With both Moore and Joshua Palmer (shoulder) unavailable, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Greg Dortch, Skyler Bell and Trent Sherfield will handle WR reps for the Bills.

Ed Oliver — Out
The veteran defensive lineman will miss his second game of the season, this time due to a knee injury that he picked up during the Bills' Week 4 loss to the Patriots. DeWayne Carter and Greg Gaines should both see more defensive snaps in the absence of Oliver, whose next chance to play is Week 6 against the Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 18.
