Injury & Status History

Joshua Palmer — Active
Palmer was cleared to return from a one-game absence due to a shoulder injury, and his 17 offensive snaps were last among the Bills' active wide receivers with DJ Moore (shoulder) sidelined. Palmer connected with Josh Allen on a 37-yard pass late in the first quarter to move the Bills into opposing territory, leading to a 28-yard field goal by Tyler Bass nine plays later. Three of Palmer's four catches this season have gone for 30-plus yards, but he isn't a featured part of the Bills'offense and will see his role decrease once Moore is cleared to return. Buffalo is on a bye for Week 7 and will return to action for Week 8 against Baltimore on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Joshua Palmer — Active
Palmer was ruled out ahead of the Bills' Week 5 victory over the Rams due to a shoulder injury. The wide receiver has recovered enough to suit up for a Week 6 matchup with the Raiders, where the Bills will be without No. 1 option DJ Moore (shoulder) once again. Palmer is set to be the No. 3 wide receiver behind Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman in Sunday's game.
Joshua Palmer — Questionable
Both wideouts missed Monday's win over the Rams, in which each of Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Skyler Bell topped 60 percent route share, though many of those routes were on plays that ended up being Josh Allen scrambles. Bell likely will lose the most playing time if Moore and/or Palmer returns this week.
Joshua Palmer — Questionable
Palmer was sidelined in Week 5 against the Rams because of a shoulder injury he picked up during practice, and now his status for Week 6 is in jeopardy. He'll probably have to manage a full practice Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend, and with DJ Moore tending to an AC joint sprain, Palmer's availability for Sunday's game at Las Vegas will garner extra attention from fantasy managers.
Joshua Palmer — Questionable
Palmer suffered a shoulder injury during practice and was ultimately unavailable for Buffalo's Week 5 win over the Rams on Monday Night Football. Although the team didn't officially practice Wednesday, the wide receiver's listing as a limited participant is a positive sign. Palmer will have two more chances to officially practice in full prior to Sunday's matchup with the Raiders.
Joshua Palmer — Out
Palmer popped up on Friday's injury report as a limited participant due to a shoulder issue, which appears to be severe enough for him to miss his first game of the season. With DJ Moore (shoulder) listed as questionable, the Bills' top pass catching options could be Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid, and rookie Skyler Bell is expected to make his NFL debut after being a healthy scratch in each of the first four games of the regular season, per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. Palmer's next chance to play is Week 6 against the Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 18.
