Brandin Echols — Out
Echols suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of the team's 26-19 overtime win over the Buccaneers on Sunday, and he will now be forced to miss at least one additional contest as a result. The cornerback plays primarily on special teams, so his absence won't have much of an impact on the Steelers' defensive approach in Week 7.
Sebastian Joseph-Day — Injured Reserve
Joseph-Day is dealing with an apparent triceps injury, and he will now be forced to miss at least four contests while recovering. In his absence, Gabriel Rubio and Kevin Jobity are both candidates to see an increase in workload on Pittsburgh's defensive line.
Ben Skowronek — Out
Skowronek did not participate in Wednesday's practice. He will now miss his second straight week due to a calf injury suffered in the Steelers' Week 5 win against the Colts. Kaden Wetjen may see some extra reps in his place.

DeShon Elliott — Injured Reserve
It's the first time Elliott has logged a full practice since his 21-day window to return from injured reserve opened Oct. 8. The Steelers released Rayshawn Jenkins earlier Wednesday, and that's a potential sign that Elliott will be available to make his 2026 debut this Sunday against the Saints in Paris.
Ben Skowronek — Out
Skowronek was unable to play against the Buccaneers in Week 6 due to a calf injury that he sustained during the Steelers' Week 5 win over the Colts. He'll have two more chances to log at least a limited practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints in Paris.

Eli Heidenreich — Out
The seventh-round rookie continues to be inactive behind Jaylen Warren, Rico Dowdle, Travis Homer and Lew Nichols. It remains unclear what Heidenreich's role is and whether he will remain on the roster throughout the 2026 season.
Drew Allar — Out
With Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph as the active quarterbacks and Will Howard inactive as the emergency third option, there is no current place for the third-round rookie in the quarterback room. Allar will likely remain inactive unless one of the other three quarterbacks gets injured.
Will Howard — Out
Howard remains in the emergency role, destined only to enter the game if starter Aaron Rodgers and backup Mason Rudolph both must exit the contest.
