Michael Pittman Jr. — Injured Reserve
With the expected move now official, Pittman will be required to miss at least the next four games, making Week 10 against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 15 the earliest that the veteran wide receiver can return. Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard are both in line for more offensive snaps for as long as Pittman is sidelined.
Steelers place WR Michael Pittman Jr. on IR with foot injury
The Pittsburgh Steelers placed wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) on injured reserve, the team announced on Saturday.
Michael Pittman Jr. — Out
Pittman was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts after aggravating a foot injury in practice during Week 5 prep. The team has yet to announce the move, but once it's official, Pittman will be required to miss at least the next four games. With the Steelers on a bye for Week 9, that means the earliest that the veteran wide receiver will be eligible to return is Week 10 against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 15. Roman Wilson figures to step into the WR2 role behind DK Metcalf in Pittman's absence, and rookie second-rounder Germie Bernard should also be in the mix for more targets from veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Michael Pittman Jr. — Out
Pittman missed Pittsburgh's Week 2 loss to the Patriots due to a foot issue and had just four catches for 31 yards across two subsequent appearances. He's facing a multi-week absence after aggravating that injury in practice leading up to the Steelers' Week 5 matchup against the Colts. The team has yet to decide whether to place Pittman on IR, in which case he would be required to sit out a minimum of four weeks.
Michael Pittman Jr. — Questionable
Pittman sat out the Steelers' Week 2 loss to the Patriots due to a foot issue, but he proceeded to suit up for the team's subsequent two games, playing north of 70 percent of snaps in both contests while producing a combined 4-31-0 receiving line on nine targets. The Steelers haven't indicated that Pittman is dealing with any major setback coming out of this past Thursday's loss to the Browns, even though he was spotted moving around the locker room Wednesday with a one-legged scooter and no shoe on his left foot, per Mark Kaboly of 93.7 The Fan Pittsburgh. Pittman's ability to practice in some fashion to kick off Week 5 prep suggests that he remains likely to play this Sunday against the Colts.

Michael Pittman Jr. — Questionable
With Pittman having already missed time recently due to a foot injury, it doesn't like he's past the issue despite playing in last Thursday night's loss to the Browns. The veteran receiver has been a non-factor in his short time with the Steelers, catching seven passes for 89 yards and no touchdowns on 12 targets across three games. Pittsburgh hosts Pittman's former Colts teammates on Sunday.
Michael Pittman Jr. — Active
Pittman logged a 72 percent offensive snap share, second-most among Pittsburgh wideouts, but he didn't do much with the ample playing time. In fact, Roman Wilson -- who logged a 22 percent offensive snap share -- outproduced Pittman considerably with a 3-74-1 receiving line. In his first season with the Steelers, Pittman has had a tough time connecting with QB Aaron Rodgers, posting just seven catches on 12 targets for 89 yards through three games. He'll look to make more of an impact in Week 5 against Indianapolis next Sunday.
Michael Pittman Jr. — Active
Pittman was cleared to return from a one-game absence due to a foot injury. Despite the low offensive output, he played 45 of 62 offensive snaps (72.3 percent), which was second-most among Steelers wide receivers behind DK Metcalf (56). Pittman also was tied for the second-most targets, though six Pittsburgh pass catchers were targeted at least four times by Aaron Rodgers. Pittman has a 5-74-0 receiving line (eight targets) across two regular-season contests heading into Thursday's game against the Browns, whose secondary could be without starters Grant Delpit (shoulder) and Tyson Campbell (knee).
