Fantasy risers and fallers: Time to trade away Ty Jerome, drop Draymond Green?
Ty Jerome's fantasy stock is seemingly on a rocket ship, but should fantasy basketball managers keep the faith in Myles Turner and Onyeka Okongwu?
Karim Lopez — Out
Lopez is dealing with a bone bruise in his right knee, so it wouldn't be shocking if this turned into a multi-game absence for the rookie. That said, he has not been in the rotation this season, so this injury won't impact Memphis' game plan.
Zach Edey — Out
Edey will sit out the front end of this back-to-back set. With the big man unavailable, Isaiah Stewart and Quinten Post are candidates to see increased playing time.
Cedric Coward — Out
Coward will miss Friday's contest due to a left wrist sprain, and his next chance to suit up will come Sunday against Sacramento. With the 23-year-old swingman sidelined, Jerami Grant, Scotty Pippen, Cam Spencer and GG Jackson are all candidates for a bump in minutes.
Isaiah Stewart — Out
Stewart has been battling an ankle injury he sustained in the preseason and won't suit up in Memphis' regular-season opener. His next opportunity to make his regular-season debut with his new club will come Friday at Golden State. In the meantime, Taylor Hendricks and Quinten Post are candidates for increased playing time.
Isaiah Stewart — Out
Stewart, who was traded from Detroit to Memphis over the summer, sustained a left ankle sprain in the team's preseason opener and is now likely to miss Opening Night. His absence opens the door for Quinten Post to move into the backup center role behind Zach Edey in the interim.
Isaiah Stewart — Out
Stewart appears to be doubtful for Friday's preseason game in Chicago. He's recovering from a left ankle injury suffered in Memphis' preseason opener.
