Recent official rulings
Tacko Fall — Out
Fall was able to get through Tuesday's practice, but he'll remain on the inactive list for Wednesday's game. He should continue to be viewed as week-to-week.
Jabari Walker — Out
Walker will miss a second consecutive contest due to left knee soreness. According to Ky Carlin of USA Today, the 24-year-old forward didn't practice Tuesday but was able to go through individual on-court workouts. His next chance to play will come Friday against New York.
Jabari Walker — Out
It was reported after Saturday's win over the Bucks that Walker exited the contest early due to a right knee injury, though he's now listed on the injury report with left knee soreness. With the 24-year-old sidelined, Dean Wade and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope may see increased minutes, while Justin Edwards could enter the rotation.
Tacko Fall — Out
Fall, who is on a two-way contract, is nearing a return to the floor for Philadelphia. He projects as an emergency depth option when the 76ers are shorthanded.
Sixers' Jaylen Brown denies report he demanded trade from Celtics
Jaylen Brown denied a report that he demanded a trade from the Boston Celtics or gave them a list of demands, according to a representative from Brown's team.
VJ Edgecombe — Out
Edgecombe sustained an abdominal contusion during Saturday's game against the Bucks, and although he was able to return, he has been ruled out for Sunday's game due to the injury. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anfernee Simons figure to see larger roles in his absence.
Tacko Fall — Out
Fall will miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a left quadriceps strain. However, the big man's absence shouldn't cause any waves in the rotation.
Joel Embiid — Out
Embiid will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set after posting a 28-point triple-double in Saturday's win over Milwaukee. Adem Bona will likely see a significant bump in minutes in Embiid's stead.
LeBron James — Out
James will be held out of the front end of this back-to-back set, with his next chance to play coming Sunday against Detroit. With the star forward sidelined, Dean Wade (ankle), Jabari Walker and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are candidates for increased playing time.
Tacko Fall — Out
Fall still isn't ready for his 76ers debut due to a quadriceps strain. Once cleared to make his season debut, the two-way player could see most of his action come with the G League's Delaware Blue Coats.

Cavs coach Atkinson 'depressed' when LeBron deal fell through
When the Cleveland Cavaliers opened their season Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers, it didn't just mean excitement for the start of something new for Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson.
Dean Wade — Out
After sitting out Philadelphia's 106-100 victory over the Knicks on Opening Night, Wade will have to watch from the sidelines once again. In his absence, Adem Bona and Jabari Walker could see a slight uptick in playing time.
Tacko Fall — Out
Fall remains sidelined with a left quadriceps strain. Once cleared to make his season debut, the two-way player could see most of his action come with the G League's Delaware Blue Coats.
Dean Wade — Out
The former Cavalier, who signed with the 76ers in the offseason following seven seasons in Cleveland, will have to wait at least one more game to make his debut with Philadelphia. Wade averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers made on 36.2 percent shooting in 2025-26 across 59 regular-season appearances (38 starts). With him on the shelf for the 2026-27 Opening Night, expect Justin Edwards, Rayan Rupert and Jabari Walker to see their roles increased slightly.
Dean Wade — Out
With back-to-back missed practices, Wade appears to be on the wrong side of the questionable tag. Justin Edwards and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would have a chance to enter the streaming mix in deep leagues if Wade is out.

Tacko Fall — Out
Fall will sit out the 76ers' first regular-season game with the same injury that sidelined him for the preseason. For now, he should be viewed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cavs.
Dominick Barlow — Out
The back issue cost Barlow the entire preseason, and now he'll begin the regular season on the sidelines. The earliest we could see Barlow back on the court would be Nov. 2, but it wouldn't be shocking to see his absence extend beyond this loose, two-week window.
