Recent official rulings
Gui Santos — Out
Santos was a late addition to the injury report before being ruled out shortly thereafter. With the 24-year-old forward sidelined, Georges Niang will likely see a bump in minutes. Santos' next opportunity to play will come Friday against the Lakers.
Kristaps Porzingis — Out
Porzingis is reportedly contemplating his future in basketball as he continues to battle health issues that have plagued him for nearly two years. Golden State isn't expecting the veteran center to rejoin the team anytime soon, and his contract structure could make him an attractive trade piece despite the uncertainty surrounding his playing future. With no timetable for his return and retirement potentially on the table, Porzingis remains a highly speculative fantasy stash, even in leagues with injured reserve spots.
Draymond Green — Out
Green is sitting out the second leg of this back-to-back set, but he should return for Monday's meeting in Denver. Graham Ike, Georges Niang and Gui Santos will help pick up the slack with Green inactive.
Al Horford — Out
As expected, the veteran big man will sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set due to lower-back injury management. With Draymond Green (back/rest) expected to join Horford on the inactive list, Graham Ike and Georges Niang are candidates for increased burn, especially if Charles Bassey (knee) is downgraded from questionable to out.
Stephen Curry — Out
Curry told reporters after Friday's loss to the Grizzlies that he will "probably not" play Saturday, and the star floor general won't suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set. With Curry out, a committee of De'Anthony Melton, Will Richard, Brandon Williams and Gary Payton will cover his minutes in the Warriors' backcourt. Curry will aim to return against the Nuggets on Monday.
Brandin Podziemski — Out
Podziemski missed the Warriors' regular-season opener against the Lakers on Wednesday due to back soreness, but he was cleared to play against the Grizzlies on Friday, when he played 33 minutes and finished with 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds, three steals and one block in a 111-108 loss. Stephen Curry (rest) is unlikely to play Saturday, so the Warriors' starting backcourt figures to be made up of some combination of De'Anthony Melton, Will Richard, Brandon Williams and Gary Payton. Podziemski's next chance to play is Monday against the Nuggets.
Charles Bassey — Out
The big man is nursing right patellar tendinopathy and can be considered day-to-day. Even with Kristaps Porzingis out of action, Bassey is unlikely to play a significant role once healthy.
Charles Bassey — Out
Bassey could miss a second straight game due to right patellar tendinopathy. However, the big man's potential absence wouldn't cause any significant waves in the rotation.

Sources: Warriors exploring options to trade center Kristaps Porzingis
The Warriors have begun exploring trade routes for veteran center Kristaps Porzingis, who remains out indefinitely as he deals with a private health issue, league sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Kristaps Porzingis — Out
Charania also notes Golden State has started exploring trade routes for Porzingis, who is already considered out indefinitely to begin the 2026-27 season. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect the big man to get back on the floor anytime soon, whether it be for the Warriors or perhaps another team, and it sounds like stepping away from the game is on the table for Porzingis at this point.
Charles Bassey — Out
The big man is battling right patellar tendinopathy and can be deemed day-to-day. Even with Kristaps Porzingis on the mend with an undisclosed health issue, Bassey is unlikely to play a significant role once healthy.
Brandin Podziemski — Out
Podziemski will miss Wednesday's regular-season opener due to lower-back soreness, and his next chance to play will come Friday against Memphis. With the 23-year-old guard sidelined, De'Anthony Melton, Gary Payton and Will Richard are candidates for increased playing time.
Kristaps Porzingis — Out
Porzingis is going to miss the start of the regular season, and fantasy managers should treat his return as an if, not a when. The Warriors have not released any additional info on Porzingis' absence, saying it's an undisclosed health issue. Given Porzingis medical history, both sides are going to proceed with the utmost caution.
Moses Moody — Out
Moody has been limited to individual court work, but team sources indicate he's ahead of Jimmy Butler (knee) in the rehabilitation process and is expected to return before the veteran forward. The 24-year-old still has several recovery checkpoints to complete, and Golden State has not established an official timetable. His eventual return would help replenish a Warriors wing rotation that will open the season without both Moody and Butler.
Jimmy Butler III — Out
Butler, who underwent surgery after suffering the injury Jan. 19, has progressed to individual court work but still has several rehabilitation milestones to clear. His next step involves landing comfortably after a game-speed jump. Coach Steve Kerr is hopeful Butler can rejoin Golden State for the latter portion of the season, though no official return date has been announced. The 37-year-old forward remains a significant part of the Warriors' plans and could provide a substantial boost during the second half of the campaign.
Kristaps Porzingis — Out
Head coach Steve Kerr still has no update on Porzingis' timeline for a return, per Luca Evans of the San Francisco Chronicle. With so much camp time missed, the big man's status for the start of the regular season remains in serious doubt at this point.
Warriors give Brandin Podziemski 5-year, $110M extension
Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski has agreed to a five-year, $110 million extension, his agent told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Jimmy Butler III — Out
Butler is still months away from retaking the floor, according to Nick Friedell of The Athletic, so a season debut at some point December might be too optimistic. The star forward remains without a definitive timeline for a return after undergoing ACL surgery in early February, which typically carries at least a nine-month recovery period. Butler makes sense as an injury stash at the end of fantasy drafts, but managers should likely be bracing for him to miss at least the first two months of the regular season.
