Injury & Status History
A running log of this player's status changes — each entry links to the original source.
Isaiah Davis — Active
Davis was on the field for 25 snaps (13 on offense, 12 on special teams) during Sunday's loss. He was barely used offensively until late in the fourth quarter, when he rattled off catches of two, 41 and six yards on consecutive plays, with the drive ending on a 12-yard touchdown pass from Geno Smith to Mason Taylor. Davis has operated as the Jets' RB2 behind Braelon Allen for the Jets' last four games, but the former's role will shrink considerably if Breece Hall (quadriceps) is cleared to return for Week 8 against the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Isaiah Davis — Active
Davis was on the field for just eight offensive snaps, but the running back had a touch on each of those snaps. He entered Week 6 having toted the rock just two times over five contests, so his increase in workload was a positive turn of events. With Breece Hall (quadriceps) still uncertain for Week 7, Davis could operate as the primary backup behind Braelon Allen again versus the Dolphins on Sunday.
Isaiah Davis — Active
Davis remained as a distant No. 2 option in the Jets backfield Sunday, playing nine offensive snaps in the victory. With Breece Hall (thigh) inactive again, Braelon Allen logged 24 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown while reeling in one of four targets for no gain over 57 offensive snaps in the contest. Davis will continue to have little to no fantasy value in Week 6 against the Patriots, regardless of Hall's availability.
Isaiah Davis — Active
With Breece Hall (thigh) inactive, Braelon Allen ended up playing 32 of 34 offensive snaps out of the backfield for the Jets, leaving no room for Davis. He can continue to be ignored in most fantasy formats.
Isaiah Davis — Active
Davis didn't see any work on offense in Week 3, but he could be called upon to handle a complementary role in the backfield next Sunday in Chicago. After exiting the loss to the Lions in the fourth quarter with a thigh injury, starter Breece Hall is considered week-to-week and looks likely to miss at least one game. Braelon Allen should be in line to lead the New York backfield in Hall's absence, while Davis may serve as a change-of-pace option.
