Per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, coach Todd Monken said Wednesday that he gave Verse the day off and expects him to play Sunday at Pittsburgh. With that said, his activity at practice Thursday and Friday might still be worth keeping an eye on.
