Ben Brown — Out

Brown injured his knee during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 26-19 win over the Jets. He was held out of all three practices during Week 7 prep, and with both Brown and Alijah Vera-Tucker (hamstring) sidelined Thursday, the Patriots will likely turn to Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse to serve as the starting guards against Chicago. Brown will aim to recover enough to return for Week 8 against Miami on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Ben Brown — Doubtful

Vrabel stopped short of ruling out Brown completely, but it seems like it will be an uphill battle for him to try to be ready to play in Week 7. With regular starting left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (hamstring) also trending in the wrong direction ahead of Thursday's contest, 2024 sixth-rounder Walter Rouse and veteran Matt Pryor might both be called on to start against a defense that has flashed at times so far this year.

Ben Brown — Questionable

Brown suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter and has since been downgraded to out. Walter Rouse entered the contest and will presumably fill the void for the remainder of the game.
