Brents reported concussion symptoms following the Dolphins' Week 7 win over the Jets, per Alain Poupart of SI.com. Brents will have two more opportunities to practice this week, but he would not be eligible to play against the Patriots on Sunday unless he's cleared from the league's concussion protocol by an independent neurologist.

Brents suffered a stinger in the team's Week 5 loss to the Bengals, but he now appears to be back to 100 percent following the team's bye week. The cornerback will be back in his starting role in Miami's secondary versus the Jets on Sunday.

He was able to check back into the game to begin the second half, but he appears to have suffered an aggravation of the stinger.
