Pierre Strong Jr. — Active

Strong led the backfield in carries and out-targeted MarShawn Lloyd six to one. The Packers still couldn't run the ball effectively, but Josh Jacobs is due back from the Commissioner's Exempt list in time for next Sunday's game against the Lions, making all three of Strong, Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson waiver-wire material in fantasy moving forward. Strong has turned 16 carries into just 35 yards through two games, but he's secured eight of 10 targets for 50 yards.

Pierre Strong Jr. — Active

Signed off the practice squad Thursday, Strong made his Packers debut three days later and ended up settling in as the No. 2 option in the backfield behind MarShawn Lloyd, who played just two more snaps but handily out-produced him (10-31-2 rushing line, one catch for six yards). Meanwhile, after committing a costly goal-line fumble in the Week 4 win over the Buccaneers, Kaleb Johnson logged just nine snaps and gained 26 yards on his seven carries. As the more capable option on passing downs, Strong looks like he could continue to work ahead of Johnson while Chris Brooks (ankle) is on injured reserve.

Pierre Strong Jr. — Active

Strong was tending to a hamstring injury early in the season, but now he's presumably back in game shape. Green Bay is last in rushing offense by a wide margin through the first four weeks of the season, so there's plenty of incentive for the team not to afford Strong some opportunities once he has acclimated himself. Over 14 regular-season games with the Browns in 2024, he carried the ball 26 times for 108 yards, and he caught 14 of 22 targets for 104 yards.
