Grant Delpit — Active
Delpit was listed as questionable Friday but has cleared concussion protocol before Sunday's contest, as expected. The strong safety is set to suit up next to Ronnie Hickman to anchor the Browns' secondary as the team attempts to maintain its control of the AFC North.
Grant Delpit — Questionable
Coach Todd Monken said Delpit is close to clearing concussion protocol and hopes he will be cleared Saturday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. The strong safety will need full vetting and approval from one of the NFL's independent neurologists to suit up for Sunday's contest. If Delpit cannot play, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren will likely start at strong safety for the Browns when they take on the Titans.
Grant Delpit — Questionable
Delpit is still recovering from the concussion he suffered in Week 6 versus the Ravens, and he is now also dealing with a shoulder injury. The safety was able to increase from being a non-participant at Wednesday's first practice of the week to being limited Thursday, but he will still need to clear concussion protocol to even have a chance to play Sunday versus the Titans.
Grant Delpit — Questionable
Delpit has entered the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and will not return to Sunday's game. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren will likely finish out the game as the strong safety for the Browns' secondary.
Grant Delpit — Questionable
Delpit exited the first quarter of Sunday's contest with a head injury. If the safety is deemed to have suffered a concussion, he will enter the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and be ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Grant Delpit — Active
Delpit played 62 defensive snaps in the contest, good for 97 percent of the Browns' total defensive plays. The strong safety's six tackles were his most in a game so far this season.
Grant Delpit — Active
Delpit was able to play through a shoulder issue during the Browns' 21-18 win over the Panthers on Sunday, and the seventh-year pro will do the same for Thursday's AFC North clash against the Steelers. He's played every single defensive snap through three regular-season games, accumulating 12 tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks and one pass defense in that span.
