Tee Higgins — Active
The Bengals' air attack as a whole got off to a very sluggish start, leading to a scoreless first half. However, Cincinnati exploded for 35 points after intermission, and Higgins played a big role by posting team-high reception and receiving yardage totals while tying for the team lead in targets. The veteran wideout also recorded his second touchdown catch of the campaign on a 13-yard grab with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter that gave Cincinnati a 14-13 lead. Higgins is averaging an outstanding 17.3 yards per reception on a 33-571-2 receiving line heading into a Week 8 home matchup against the Titans next Sunday.
Tee Higgins — Active
Higgins was able to work through groin and neck injuries to suit up Sunday, but the veteran field-stretching receiver wasn't called on to do much on an afternoon when Joe Burrow threw for a season-low 192 yards. Nevertheless, Higgins seemingly made it through the game unscathed -- albeit with season-low totals across the board -- and he'll now have a Week 6 bye to further recover before a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Tee Higgins — Active
After exiting last week's loss to Jacksonville due to what the Bengals initially referred to as an adductor injury, Higgins ended up appearing on the team's initial Week 5 injury report as a non-participant on account of groin and neck issues. He remained sidelined for practice Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday and carrying a questionable tag into the weekend. Higgins apparently checked out fine following his pregame workout and has been given the green light to suit up Sunday along with fellow starting wideout Ja'Marr Chase (concussion), who had also been listed as questionable heading into the day. Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network relays the Bengals plan to monitor Higgins' snap count, but the wideout is still slated to take the field for mostly "meaningful plays," which could suggest he'll be given more frequent breaks from running plays where he would serve as a blocker.
Tee Higgins — Active
Higgins emerged from Week 4 with adductor and neck injuries and wasn't able to practice at all Wednesday or Thursday, but he ended the week with a full session and entered the weekend listed as questionable to suit up. Fellow WR Ja'Marr Chase similarly was a full participant Friday and listed as questionable for Week 5 action, but he also is in line to be available to the Bengals offense Sunday. The statuses of both players will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Higgins didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and wasn't spotted by media at the start of Friday's session. He apparently did enough to get an 'FP' designation on the final injury report, along with teammate Ja'Marr Chase, who also is listed as questionable and will need to clear concussion protocol. Things are looking up for both at the end of the week, but fantasy managers still will need to monitor the situation ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Higgins "practiced some" Friday, according to coach Zac Taylor, after the wideout logged back-to-back DNPs Wednesday and Thursday. Higgins eventually was a full participant to end the week. With Ja'Marr Chase still in the concussion protocol, he's also questionable for Week 5, putting the Bengals' wideout situation in a state of emergency. If neither can go against Miami, Cincinnati will lean on Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley while Chase Brown and Mike Gesicki become focal points of the offense.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
After logging non-participant listings Wednesday and Thursday, Higgins now appears to be trending toward another missed practice. Meanwhile, Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) looks to be taking part again.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Higgins was seen working out off to the side during the open portion of Thursday's session, and he apparently wasn't able to mix into team drills once practice was closed to the media. The veteran wideout has now had consecutive absences from practice to kick off Week 5 prep, while No. 1 receiver Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) bumped up to limited participation Thursday after sitting out Wednesday. The Bengals will see if Higgins and Chase can increase their practice activity Friday before deciding if either or both wideouts will carry designations into Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Higgins emerged from a Week 4 loss to the Jaguars with an adductor injury, and Wednesday's practice report attributed his absence to that and a neck issue. Considering he isn't in pads one day later, he seems destined to be a non-participant for a second session in a row, giving him just one more chance to mix into drills this week. Meanwhile, fellow WR Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) returned to practice Thursday, though his activity level isn't known.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Head coach Zac Taylor suggested earlier Wednesday that Higgins would be a limited participant in the Bengals' first Week 5 session, but the wideout ended up being held out completely. Fellow wideout Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) also sat out practice, while rookie Colbie Young returned to the field in limited fashion. Higgins' status for Sunday's game against the Dolphins will be under the microscope as the week progresses.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
With Higgins having been labeled day-to-day earlier in the week, his return to practice in any capacity is a positive step for his Week 5 availability against the Dolphins. The Bengals are going to need Higgins if Ja'Marr Chase is unable to clear concussion protocol. Dohnte Meyers and Mike Gesicki would be next in line for targets, and both are sensible fantasy pickups this week.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins day-to-day with adductor injury, coach says
Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is considered day-to-day with an adductor issue he suffered toward the end of Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tee Higgins — Questionable
Higgins emerged from Sunday's loss to the Jaguars with an adductor issue, but he appears to have avoided any sort of serious setback. More will be known about Higgins' status by Wednesday at the latest, when the Bengals provide an official update on the health of Higgins -- as well as fellow wideout Ja'Marr Chase (concussion).
Tee Higgins — Questionable
The Bengals played most of Week 4 without top WR Ja'Marr Chase, who suffered a concussion in the first half. The situation allowed Higgins to rack up a whopping 11-157-0 line on 16 targets, but he also picked up a health concern himself. With Colbie Young (knee) inactive Sunday and Andrei Iosivas (thumb) on IR for at least two more contests, the Bengals currently are down to just two healthy wide receivers on the active roster (Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley).
Tee Higgins — Active
Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase turned in signature performances in the high-scoring loss, and the former finished as the runner-up in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the day to his talented teammate. Higgins' first score of the season came on a difficult and contested 28-yard grab late in the first half, knotting the score at 17-17 going into halftime. Through three games, Higgins is on pace for a potential third career 1,000-yard season, as he's quickly amassed a 14-244-1 line on 23 targets.
