Injury & Status History

Charles Omenihu — Out
This will be Omehihu's second straight absence after he was injured early against Indianapolis in Week 4. The Commanders are on bye next week, so the veteran defensive end will look to return in Week 8 against Philadelphia. Javon Kinlaw (ankle/knee) is questionable for Monday's contest, so Washington may need to lean more on Shy Tuttle and/or Deatrich Wise.
Charles Omenihu — Out
Omenihu couldn't practice all week due to groin and ankle injuries, which he picked up against the Colts in Week 4. Shy Tuttle will be the Commanders' top reserve option at defensive end behind Tim Settle and Javon Kinlaw in the absence of Omenihu, whose next chance to play is Week 6 against the 49ers on Monday, Oct. 19.
Charles Omenihu — Out
Omenihu suffered a groin injury during Sunday's loss to the Colts. However, he seemingly picked up an ankle injury as well, increasing his odds of missing Sunday's divisional clash with the Giants. If Omenihu isn't out there in Week 5, Shy Tuttle will be in line for more snaps.
Charles Omenihu — Questionable
Omenihu was hurt late in the first quarter Sunday and didn't end up returning. He'll get tests done to determine the severity of his injury. The Commanders may turn to Shy Tuttle for more defensive snaps if Omenihu needs to miss additional time.
Charles Omenihu — Questionable
Omenihu was injured in the first quarter and went to the locker room to be evaluated. He's since been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Shy Tuttle may be asked to play more defensive snaps given Omenihu's absence.
