Injury & Status History

Chase McLaughlin — Active
McLaughlin was able to make multiple field goals for the second straight week and fifth time this season. The kicker converted a chip-shot 22-yard attempt in the second quarter before later adding a 44-yarder in the third quarter. McLaughlin has been far more involved in contests during which quarterback Baker Mayfield has been active, and the kicker will have a chance to make it three games in a row with multiple field-goal makes when the team hosts Atlanta in Week 8.
Chase McLaughlin — Active
It was the second time this season that McLaughlin made four field goals, including a 53-yarder in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter to force Sunday's game into overtime. He has yet to miss a kick this season, and his 14 made field goals are tied for third most in the NFL behind Spencer Shrader (18) and Will Reichard (15). The Buccaneers will be on the road for three of their next four games, starting with Week 7 against the Panthers on Oct. 25.
Chase McLaughlin — Active
McLaughlin made all three of his PAT tries before nailing a 41-yard field goal late in the third quarter. He could have had an additional chip-shot FG midway through the fourth, but the Buccaneers somewhat surprisingly tried (and failed) to get into the end zone on a fourth-and-goal play from the 1-yard line when a field goal would have given them a three-score lead. Regardless, McLaughlin looked fine after missing practice Tuesday with a right groin/hip issue, and he's now a perfect 10-for-10 on field-goal attempts this season.
Chase McLaughlin — Active
McLaughlin popped up on the injury report Tuesday as a non-participant due to right groin and hip injuries, but his absence from practice that day appears to have been precautionary more than anything else. The veteran kicker is a perfect 9-for-9 on field-goal tries and 7-for-7 on point-after attempts through the Buccaneers' first four games. Backed by a Tampa Bay offense struggling to score touchdowns, McLaughlin could continue to see ample field-goal chances if the team's drives keep stalling out in the red zone.
Chase McLaughlin — Questionable
Though he wasn't included on the team's initial Week 5 injury report released Monday, McLaughlin's absence from practice a day later makes his status worth tracking as Thursday's game against the Cowboys approaches. For the time being, the Buccaneers still seem to be proceeding with the expectation that McLaughlin will be ready to play Thursday, as Greg Auman of Fox Sports relays that the team hasn't reached out to free agent kicker B.T. Potter, who served as McLaughlin's backup in the preseason.

Chase McLaughlin — Active
McLaughlin went without a field-goal try for the first time in a regular-season contest since Week 12 of the 2025 campaign. He remains perfect on the season, going 9-for-9 on field-goal attempts, including 3-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while also making all seven of his PATs over the team's first four games.
Chase McLaughlin — Active
The kicker has yet to miss this season, and he has now made nine field goals through three games. Unfortunately, the 0-3 Bucs have only afforded him five extra-point attempts across three contests.
