Zach Ertz — Active

After being signed to the Eagles' practice squad Sept. 22, Ertz was elevated three straight weeks and produced a 3-22-0 receiving line on eight targets. However, he's reached the maximum with the three elevations and would need to be signed to Philadelphia's active roster in order to suit up again on game day. Ertz may no longer be needed due to Dallas Goedert returning to action in Week 5. Plus, Grant Calcaterra (back) and Eli Stowers (quadriceps), both of whom are still on IR, are on the verge of being activated.

Zach Ertz — Active

Ertz has been elevated and then returned to the practice squad each of the three weeks since signing with Philadelphia on Sept. 22. In Sunday's loss to Jacksonville, he logged a season-low six offensive snaps and didn't catch either of his two targets. Ertz is out of practice-squad elevations, so Philadelphia will need to sign him to the active roster in order for the veteran tight end to continue to play for the team on game days.

Zach Ertz — Active

Philadelphia's offense will be welcoming back No. 1 tight end Dallas Goedert from a two-game absence due to a sprained MCL in his right knee, but with the team down top RB Saquon Barkley and WR DeVonta Smith as it deals with respective hamstring injuries, head coach Nick Sirianni may be forced into using more two-TE sets. Through two contests in his return to the Eagles, Ertz has hauled in three of six targets for 22 yards while playing behind Johnny Mundt, so he figures to be no more than the No. 3 at the position in Week 5.

Zach Ertz — Active

With Dallas Goedert (knee) stil sidelined, Johnny Mundt made the start at tight end for Philly and played 49 of 61 offensive snaps. Ertz saw 13 snaps on offense, running 11 routes on Jalen Hurts' 32 dropbacks. He caught two of four targets for 12 yards and has three catches for 21 yards on six targets across two appearances since signing with the Eagles.

Zach Ertz — Active

In his return to Philadelphia in a Week 4 loss to the Bears, Ertz ranked second among Eagles tight ends in offensive snaps (19 of 50) behind Johnny Mundt (26) and ahead of E.J. Jenkins (13) in the first game without Dallas Goedert due to an MCL sprain. Ertz ended up hauling in just one of two targets for nine yards, but he figures to ramp up his workload moving forward as he puts his own torn ACL from last December further in the rearview mirror.

Zach Ertz — Active

Ertz brought in one of two targets for nine yards during Monday's 27-7 loss at Chicago. It was a mostly uneventful reunion with his old team, but given that he was just signed a week ago, it's relatively impressive he led Philadelphia's tight ends in targets. With Dallas Goedert (knee) lacking a clear return date and rookie second-rounder Eli Stowers (hamstring) still on IR, Ertz has a good chance of being added to the gameday roster again for a Week 4 matchup versus the Rams.
